Personal Comments: I've been involved with renewable energy applications since 1978. I have had the chance to do solar electric, solar thermal and small-scale hydroelectric projects in California, Hawai'i and in Asia. I moved from Santa Cruz, California to the Big Island of Hawai'i in 2000 to become a founding team member of a new solar electric start-up here in humid and rainy Hilo. After the original parent company decided to get out of the PV business, my old friend and partner, Douglas Bath, bought ProVision.
