Personal Comments:
Life partner and wife is Barb, she works in print media and published her own monthly in Portland for 4 years, prior to joining me in southern Oregon. She now publishes a regional lifestyles pub called Southern Exposure. We live in a subdivision spec. home built in 2000 and are looking for a home with a few acres outside of town. After 13 years off-grid, I use this current home as a lab, simulating how "most" people live today and how they use energy. By installing energy efficient appliances and lighting and using common sense(but not being as vigilant as I used to about using energy), our consumption is about 15Kwh per day, compared to 25Kwh averaged by our neighborhood. We have a 3.3 kw gridtie system that generates about half our annual electrical needs. The primary inverter is a SunVista, but you'll usually find some new inverter going through Beta testing if you visit us. Our PV is unique, 3 subarrays 1100 watts each, one facing east, one west, and one south. Its quite an education in itself!
Barb and I enjoy movies, plays, concerts, the beach, the woods, and travel.

Business Comments:
Energy Outfitters is a wholesale distributor of RE gear. We have a rapidly growing nationwide dealer network which tells me we must be doing something right. We have stocked distribution centers in Oregon, New Jersey, Barry ONT, and Calgary AB. I was one of 3 key people responsible for Oregon getting a Renewable Energy Tech. licensing program and an RE contractors license. I've served as president of OSEIA and am currently on the board of national SEIA as the contractor's voice.
