Personal Comments: My wife Alison, Daughters Sonya Belle and Iris and I, live on a small non ferry served island in N.W. WA. state. There are no stores, Grid power or telephone lines. There are gravel roads a great one room K-8 school, P.O. and a bunch of very interesting people, who all happen to have Solar Electric systems. We run our trucks on vegetable oil, keep sheep, grow food, and try to keep everything running fairly smooth.
