As an anarcho-techno-pesant I do whatever I can to make a good time of promoting positive change and looking good. My life partner, Amy Wilson, inhances this attempt at fun a great deal. We live outside of the middle of nowhere in a former dairy state happily at least an hour from anywhere. So far our organic/homestead/sustainable way of life has been ignored to our mutual peace and quiet.

Interdependence with the whole of the universe sustains us well and we are glad to share nearly whatever we find with whoever cares to ask.

As a Wrench, retailer/wholesaler, instructor, consultant, and advocate we're finding a need for more heads to fit our hats...

Great Northern Solar is, under my direction, attempting to change the way we make and use energy throughout the known universe. Oh, well a little at a time seems to be getting us there.

Recent projects include: a 5kw battery free grid intertie PV system at the Dane Cnty. Expo Center installed just before MREF for Madison Gas & Electric done as a fundraiser for the MREA; 7.8Kw hybrid (4.8kw PV on wattusn trackers, 3kw Whisper on 120' tilt-up tower) grid interie with large battery backup; 3.4kw home system 1/2 tracked 1/2 roof mounted, grid tied batterybackup; Fixing up the homestead systems; two PV's on a friends RV...

I think we are going to really see alot of action this melenium.
